Post Traumatic Stress Disorder & Emergency Department Staff

The purpose of this research is to examine the frequency of traumatic stress and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in hospital emergency department health care workers and to identify the factors associated with traumatic stress and PTSD symptoms in this setting.

The data will increase our understanding of traumatic stress in emergency department workers and point to interventions that might reduce the development of PTSD.
